In 2026, the biggest downfall and the one thing I wish I had known prior to signing loan docs was this. No online loan portal to be able to login in, see at a glance current loan info, easily make changes to banking info, and easily make additional online payments or to split my monthly payment into equal smaller payments over the course of the month. For a lender to loan large chuck of money but not have enough capital or desire to create an online portal is very disappointing. Any time I want info or need to make a change or make additional payments, I’m forced to get on the phone and speak with someone and jump through the 5 minutes of confirmation hoops to then explain what I need done. Give me a portal online and let me do it myself like all the major players are already doing! The application process up to funding were great. No complaints there, and post funding, no complaints with the loan itself. Just irritated with the lack of ease in the latter of managing my loan easily online. You don’t get 5 stars from me unless there’s an online feature for your customers. Get with the times, to be told to send a paper check as my only other option was a bit off putting. Everything is moving to digital, and you need to catch up before I figure out how to move this to another lender who can give me these easy no brainer options.

I reached out to BHG financial with a unique request and assigned to Julie Sheer. She was extremely proactive, knowledgeable and also friendly. From start to end process was straightforward, especially with the utilization of modern electronic tools. Julia was on point with handling the additional questions/verifications raised by the digital tools, and in quick 24 hours the proper financial structure I was looking for was approved. Great service, strong financial instrument options. Very satisfied and will be my first call in the future if I have similar needs.

Normally I deal with banks over my lifetime. I took a shot at bhg and was blown away at the simplicity moreover the customer service experience! From the beginning with Hunter, Tiffany assisting and heading all final details with Fernando who took it over the finish line. All in less than 24 hours! Great job, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
